Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you will be met by a Reliable Tours representative who will assist you to your transfer. You will be met by your driver for your private transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in. Spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Enjoy a visit to Robben Island.

The standard tour to Robben Island is 3.5 hours long, including the two half-hour ferry rides. Ferries depart at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm, from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town (weather permitting). The Robben Island Tour includes:

• A return boat trip across Table Bay
• A visit to the infamous Maximum Security Prison
• Interaction with an ex-political prisoner
• A 45-minute bus ride with a guide providing commentary
• The opportunity to explore the Murray’s Bay Harbour precinct attractions, such as the Muslim shrine, or kramat, and the Museum Shop.

NOTE: New regulation for all guests doing a Robben Island Tour:

• In order to pre-book the tickets we will require the full passport details of one of the guests travelling.
• All guests will need to present some form of identification e.g. passport, birth certificate, drivers licence or copies thereof before they will be allowed to board the ferry to Robben Island.
• Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting).
• Return to the city and pass through the Malay Quarter.
• Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, Houses of Parliament and the Company Gardens.
• Travel to Sea Point and Camp’s Bay for scenic ocean vistas.
• Visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

You will be collected at your hotel by your driver and guide for a Private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.

• Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula.
• Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay.
• Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). Tours depart at 08h15, 09h15, 10h15, 12h00, 14h00 or 15h15.
• During summer, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds.
• Travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive (conditions permitting).
• Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
• The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape.
• The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean.
• Ascend to the top of by The Flying Dutchman funicular.
• Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
• Then drive through the historic naval base town of Simon’s Town.

Return to your hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

• Get swept away by the overwhelming beauty of rolling vineyards and perfect blue sky.
• Start off with a visit to Paarl and the spectacular Paarl Valley.
• Here you will enjoy a wine tasting and cellar tour at one of the local estates.
• The tour continues north-west to the beautiful village of Franschhoek and then on to Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa and the historic heart of the country’s wine region.
• The final wine-tasting will take place here at one of the well-known estates.
